As time allows, I open my studio for classes and projects. I post those offerings on facebook and the website.
While I do everything I can to ensure success, sometimes clay doesn't cooperate in the kiln - if your work comes out cracked or broken, I can not offer you a refund or re-build your piece.
I offer single wheel throwing sessions. In this 90 minute session, participants will try the basics of throwing clay, centering, opening, pulling and shaping. Each class starts with demonstrations and throwing techniques. Participants will throw 2-4 pieces. This class does not include instructions on trimming or finishing pieces. I will trim, fire, and glaze your piece for you. All materials provided.
$70 per participant (class limit 4 people). Dates to be announced.
Pottery classes are for those wanting more than one time and a desire to try hand building, wheel throwing, decorating and glazing finished pieces. These classes are for all abilities. Beginners will start with hand building and move onto wheel throwing. Advanced participants will work on more advanced techniques. Class meets once per week for 4 consecutive weeks. All materials provided. Generally, participants finish the 4 weeks with 4-6 completed pieces. $150 per participant (limited to 6 people).
Dates to be determined.
Pottery Projects are perfect for those who want to try out hand building or glazing without committing to a series of sessions. Each project will focus on making one specific piece. Each project is 60-90 minutes of hands on activity. I offer both projects for kids and adults.
All materials provided. Projects vary from bird houses, to mugs, to vases and more. $30-$75 per project. Contact me for information on scheduling a project at your location!

In June 2021 I was selected as one of 12 Oklahoma artists for a THRIVE Grant from the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition. The grant is intended to offer opportunity to artists and ensure creative communities throughout the state. My project, Faces of Our Community showcased hundreds of small faces that were created by the community. These faces were displayed and given to the participants. I was blessed and fortunate to have the support of the community in making this amazing project happen.
